Sweetheart Floral

Hello there, Sam here. I feel like florals and arches are made to go together; think it is because of so many beautiful arched trellis you see with floral vines growing all over them. Today I combine the Sweetheart Floral Impress-ion & foil plate with the new Arches dies for my card interpretation of a floral arched trellis.

 
 

Prep Work:

  • Die cut the ‘Enjoy’ sentiment from Simply Word Dies out of gold card stock once and another 2 times from plain cardstock. Layer and glue them together to create a sturdy ‘enjoy’ sentiment.

  • Grab an A2 size (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) card base in your favourite green.

Get the look:

  • Using either your better press or foil system, print or foil Sweetheart Floral Impress-ion & foil plate on to card stock.

  • Using the stencils for ‘Sweetheart Floral Impress-ion & foil plate ink blend over the flowers in your favourite colours. For additional detail add some shading with 2 colours of ink blended over the stencil and/or markers or pencils.

  • Using the 2.5” x 3.75” Arch die cut the floral so it is slightly cropped to the side.

  • Take the remaining green ink on your blending brush and lightly brush around the outside of the arch.

  • Slightly offset, adhere arch to card base using foam tape.

  • Finally add the sentiment.
