Your Next Stamp Release Preview: Birthday Tags

Heading into the last day of previews. Tomorrow all the wonderful stamp, die and stencil sets arrive 11am EST at the brand new Your Next Stamp online store, along with a really great discount code (see bottom of post for code). When I saw these tags, I thought the little images could be used beyond just tags. So to give you an alternative idea for using the tag images and with a little bit of creative stamping and masking I stamped out portions of the tags to create little mini square images. The images are then ready to be laid out on any fun background you’ve made. Also how great would it be to give both the card and tags to someone as a gift.

Get the look:

Lightly blend a rainbow of ink colours over 4 /1/4” x 5 1/2” white cardstock.
Once happy with the solid colour blends, die cut with the Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set.
Make sure the distress inks are dry before laying birthday confetti stencil overtop and applying some glitter paste. Wash stencil right away and set panel aside to dry.
Place tag stamps on a stamp positioner and use a post it note to mask off the area that you don’t want to be inked up. Don’t forget to remove the post it note before stamping.
Now the images may look a little odd right now with only a portion being outlined. Simply take a black copic friendly marker and ruler and fill in the rest of the square. Colour and fussy cut out.

All that’s left is putting it all together. Adhere the background panel to a black A2 size card base. Arrange and adhere square images and sentiment with foam tape for added dimension.
