Your Next Stamp Quarantini: Stamp and Die Cut Inlay into Slim Line Panel

What a fun, busy week it has been over at Your Next Stamp. Lots of birthday celebrations to mark YNS turning 11 years this month. Today I get to highlight the recently released “Quarantini’ stamp set. Such a fun take on what is a tough time, makes me smile. To keep everything relatively clean and flat I inlaid the owl die cut into the background panel.

Get the Look:

Die cut a slim line card base of 7" x 8 1/2” rectangle, fold to 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”.
Using the slim line circle panel die, die cut out of card stock. Remove the circles keeping some to colour and insert back in later as bubbles.
Stamp, colour and die cut the owl from Quarantini stamp set.
Using same colour as drink, colour in bubbles.
Inlay option: Since I am inlaying the coloured bubbles (circles) back into the slim line circle panel, thought it be nice to keep the card fairly flat by also inlaying the owl and quarantini. Simply position the owl die on the already die cut slim line circle panel and run through die cutting machine. Now the owl and drink will sit flat to the card.
Alternate option: If you don’t happen to have the co-ordinating dies simply fussy cut out owl and quarantini and attach ontop of the slim line circle panel.
Glue slim line circle panel to the 3 1/2”x 8 1/2” card base. Glue die cut owl and quarantini to card (inlaid or ontop). Position and glue coloured bubbles to card.
Add some crystal glaze to the drink and bubbles for that glossy shine.
White emboss sentiment on black card stripe. Adhere sentiment to card.
